About Pillar Credit Union
Who We Are
Pillar Credit Union is a member-owned and member-governed financial institution. Since its formation in 1960, we have grown into a full service, not-for-profit financial cooperative.
In 2020, we changed our name from Marion Community Credit Union to Pillar Credit Union.
Our friendly convenient services are available to anyone who works or lives in Marion, Morrow, Crawford, Wyandot, Richland, and Hancock County, is an immediate family member of a current member or works for any of our many Select Employee Groups.
Once you join — even if you move, change employers, or retire — you can retain your membership with Pillar Credit Union.
We offer all popular financial institution services ranging from Savings and Checking accounts to Loans. We have Debit, Visa and ATM cards and also offer Share Certificates, Kid's Club, Teen Club accounts, and many other services.
Pillar Credit Union is the smart choice for all your financial needs.
Why Pillar Credit Union over a bank?
Pillar Credit Union offers all the same products and services you expect from a bank. But, we have some unique qualities you won't get at another financial institution.
- Great Personal Service: Pillar strives to maintain personal contact with all members. Avoid long waits in long line-ups with friendly, prompt service at 2 branches in Marion. Speak to personal representatives when making inquiries, not a call center.
- Profit Sharing: Because we are a not-for-profit cooperative you own the credit union and we return the 'profits' to you through better rates than most financial institutions can offer you. We strive to distribute our earnings to our members, because we exist to serve you.
- Competitive Interest Rates: At Pillar, the interest rate you see is the rate you'll get. No need to haggle because we give you our best rate right up front.
At the heart of our organization is a commitment to provide first-class financial services to our members. We can meet your financial needs. Marion is your community and we are your community credit union
