As summer turns to fall, the Morrow County Fair brings the community to Mount Gilead for one of the most anticipated weeks of the year. From August 31 through September 7, 2026, the fairgrounds at 195 South Main Street will be alive with the sights, sounds, and flavors of a true county tradition.
The grandstand lineup is packed from start to finish. Harness racing showcases generations of racing heritage, while the demolition derby and figure-8 truck racing deliver high-energy thrills. Tractor and truck pulls round out the motorsports schedule, and live concerts give the evenings a festive soundtrack.
At its heart, the fair remains a celebration of agriculture. Livestock shows fill the barns each day, culminating in the livestock sale, where the dedication of the county’s young exhibitors is rewarded by a generous and supportive community.
Add in the midway rides, fair food, and the simple pleasure of an evening stroll through the grounds, and it is easy to see why the Morrow County Fair has been a beloved end-of-summer tradition for generations. Spanning Labor Day week, it is the perfect send-off to the season.
