Financial Literacy Month for the Whole Family
April is here, and so is one of our favorite times of the year—Financial Literacy Month! At Pillar Credit Union, we believe that everyone, from kids to grandparents, can benefit from learning how to manage money wisely. Whether you’re building a savings habit, making informed loan decisions, or simply trying to stick to a budget, we’ve got something for everyone in the family. Below are fun ideas to keep your finances in focus all month long.
Learning Through Play: Zogo App Challenges
If you haven’t already heard, our free partner app, Zogo, makes it fun to learn about money by breaking concepts into bite-sized “micro-lessons.” Kids, teens, and adults can complete modules on topics like saving, credit, investing, and more—all while earning points for gift cards.
Family-Friendly Competition: Turn daily learning into a contest by comparing scores. Motivate each other to master new topics and celebrate the highest earners each week.
Beat Our Mascot “Fetch”: Challenge yourself to outscore our lovable Super Pup Fetch. Anyone who tops Fetch’s leaderboard score by the end of April gets entered to win special prizes.
Fun for the Whole Family—All Year Round
Financial Literacy Month is just the beginning. By investing time in financial education now, you and your family can develop healthier money habits that last well beyond April. We encourage you to keep using the Zogo app, attending webinars, and tuning in to future credit union events for continuous growth.
